LiveAuctioneers cataloging, the fast way
LiveAuctioneers lets auction houses build a catalog lot by lot or upload it all at once with a catalog spreadsheet and images. Auction Studio prepares both from your phone, so a 300-lot sale doesn't mean 300 lots of typing.

How LiveAuctioneers catalogs are uploaded
LiveAuctioneers accepts a catalog spreadsheet saved as a .CSV file through its bulk upload, and images can be uploaded in bulk, through the spreadsheet or by FTP. When image files are named by lot number, they can be matched to their lots without extra image columns. A sale needs at least 50 lots before it can be published.
How Auction Studio prepares it
- Create an auction with the Universal CSV format and rename the columns to match LiveAuctioneers' catalog template. Save it as your own format and reuse it for every sale.
- Photograph each lot. Photos are named by lot number, like 142-5.jpg, so they match their lots.
- AI writes a searchable title and a full description from your photos. Add condition, estimates or a starting bid.
- Download the CSV and the photo ZIP, then use LiveAuctioneers' bulk upload for the catalog and images.
Great for fine art, antiques and collectibles
Bidders on LiveAuctioneers read descriptions closely. Auction Studio's AI describes materials, makers' marks, size and condition from your photos, and you stay in control of every word before it's exported.
